Solved. Windows 7. When I deployed all our Win 7 boxes, I created an image which included some branding tweaks (basically getting rid of anything HP) and setting our Glenbow logo as the lock screen. I also set the default wallpaper to the same, but users are free to change that. The lock screen remains consistent and I prefer it that way.
